We give you an insider's perspective on life at Ardent. This piece features Vikas Bare, who has been part of the Ardent tech team for over 8 years and has seen the company grow and evolve.

I work primarily on one of our client accounts. I manage the team working on the software development projects for the client including web, windows and mobile as well as the maintenance and developments.
I am also involved in the decision-making with the technical team focusing on selecting the right technologies and architectures for new projects. As part of the technical audit team, I take part in validating the standards and quality of projects.
My day usually revolves around discussions with the team on the latest development priorities, review and guidance on technical aspects of projects, and any technical decision-making on projects. I regularly meet with tech and audit teams to discuss and review upcoming projects. I also review the development tasks of applications and provide updates to management and stakeholder.
We like to ensure that we foster a supportive environment so we will regularly have learning and fun activities to ensure the team are happy.
Things have changed a lot over time in the 8 years I have been at Ardent. I have enjoyed the process of seeing the Ardent culture and office environment evolve over the years. It’s a place where I am happy to work and a company that I am glad to be a part of.
One of the greatest things I value about the Ardent culture is the freedom and the ability to communicate and reach out to anyone in the organisation, whether that’s the leadership of the juniors. To me, the Ardent culture is about encouragement, support, action and upgradability.
We have helped clients find the best solution for their projects, which is something I am proud of. The ongoing client project that I work on has enabled us to provide technical recommendations to clients which has resulted in great success for the company. This also created a wave of new technology migration of projects, which I was thrilled with.
We have established a strong foundation with our client's projects and I look forward to exploring new platforms and tech stacks to drive growth for our client's organisations.
I like to build or create and really enjoy programming, hence my career in IT. IT is food for the mind.
When I was open to a new role, I found Ardent which offered the freedom to experiment, which was one of the biggest selling points of Ardent for me.
I am simply me, a nature lover, a family man and a friend to not many but a few good friends. That’s all.

At Ardent, we have spent years helping organisations design, modernise and operate the data foundations behind critical reporting, analytics and decision-making. That experience gives us a clear view of what now separates AI-ready businesses from those still struggling to get value from their data. It is not the amount of data they hold, or even [...]

From Stable Infrastructure to Adaptive Intelligence Most organisations do not need more data. They need their existing data to work better. At Ardent, we spend a significant amount of time inside large-scale client data platforms that are already mature, operational, and delivering value. These are not greenfield environments. They are complex ecosystems built over years, [...]

When the Warehouse Starts Doing the Work In our previous piece, we explored how ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) is evolving into adaptive, intelligent systems. In Redshift environments, we are now seeing what that shift looks like in practice. For most of its life, Amazon Redshift has been treated as the final step in the [...]
