Tech start-up event – Oct 2014 – sponsored by ardent

2014 has been an eventful year for ardent – literally. We have had the chance to host a number of events and two of them being, tech start-up events which has derived from the LinkedIn group we have co-founded with David Regler at Maine Associates; Tech start-up UK & Europe, and gosh they have been fun, insightful and really worth it’s while.
We hosted our first one in May in Covent Garden and it was a fantastic event. This time we thought we’d bring the event closer to home for tech start-ups, we hosted our event 30th October in London Bridge.

This event brought together start-ups and entrepreneurs from various backgrounds but they all had one thing in common – their love for technology!
Yes it was brilliant that we had a number of drinks and nibbles available but what really brought value to this event are the connections that all our guests made and the exchange of knowledge and opinions.
We have to really thank our client Advance Change's Head of Technology Delivery Michael O’Sullivan who gave a fantastic speech on how Advance chance started, the challenges they face and when they saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Michael also discussed how ardent helped the developed and grow and now we are part of their future growth.

One thing that really got our guests excited, besides that awesome goodie bags, was the prize draw. We had Simon Maystre from EOSUK pull a business card out of an ice bucket and lucky Geoff Hudson-Searle author of Freedom After The Sharks drew as our lucky winner!
By the time the event drew to an end it was apparent that all our guests found good connections and shared valuable knowledge – prompting to host another tech event in the pipeline for 2015!!
Keep your eyes peeled for announcements.
